The other occupants of the truck, rear seat passenger – 18 year old Delton Cook of Cumming, another rear seat passenger – a 15 year old male, and the 17 year old Male front seat passenger were taken, along with the driver, to North Fulton Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  The 17 year old driver was determined to be impaired and charged with D.U.I., Underage Possession/Consumption of Alcohol, and 1st degree Homicide by Vehicle; he was transported to the Detention Center.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigations Unit.  Further charges are pending.

The names of the occupants, aside from the 18 year old, are not being released due to their ages.
