Kinneth Battle was wanted by Alpharetta Police for armed robbery and wanted out of Forsyth County for Felony Obstruction, Burglary, weapons violations and numerous other felony charges.  The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Unit gathered information shortly after the original incident occurred on March 15,2014.   After a diligent search the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Warrant and P.A.C.E Unit were able to locate Battle in a Roswell apartment complex off of Old Holcomb Bridge Rd.  Roswell Police were notified and with their assistance Battle was taken into custody after a brief foot chase.

Battle was wanted in connection to a robbery at a BP fuel station in Alpharetta on March 15, 2014 when he and another suspect fled into Forsyth County resulting in an exhaustive manhunt.  “This case has been a great example of the multi-jurisdictional relationship we have set up in the past year.  We worked with Alpharetta and Roswell officials in the apprehension of this individual who has an extensive history in North Fulton.  Our Warrant and P.A.C.E Units tirelessly tracked down leads and eventually took him into custody with the help of Roswell Police”, said Sheriff Duane K. Piper.

Battle remains held without bond at the Forsyth County Detention Center and is charged with burglary, theft by receiving, possession of drug related objects, possession of marijuana, possession of a sawed-off shotgun, and felony obstruction of justice. He is on probation and also has active warrants outstanding with multiple jurisdictions in Fulton County.
