Did you know many incidents can now be reported by telephone? If you would like to speak to a deputy about an incident that is not in progress you may do so by calling the appropriate precinct during normal business hours. Minimum Employment Criteria
- 21 years of age for Patrol Officer- 18 years of age for Detention Officer
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license
- No adverse driving record
- Honorable Discharge if prior Military
- US Citizen
- No felony convictions
- No family violence convictions
- No use of "hard drugs" such as: Cocaine, Crank, LSD, Ecstasy, or Angel Dust within the past 5 years
- No illegal drug usage within the past 12 months
- No DUI (Driving Under the Influence) within the past 7 years
