Did you know many incidents can now be reported by telephone? If you would like to speak to a deputy about an incident that is not in progress you may do so by calling the appropriate precinct during normal business hours. New procedures are in effect for weapons carry licenses.
All applicants must now undergo a criminal records check and be fingerprinted.
The applicant must be at least 21 years of age and be a resident of Forsyth County. He or she must have an approved ID and submit a $74.25 fee payable by cash only to the Probate Court of Forsyth County.
This is a change from prior procedure.
