Suspects Sought in Theft of Cigarettes

Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men wanted in connection with the theft of cigarettes from a south Forsyth County business.

The two suspects, shown on the attached video, entered a BP gas station located at 1385 McFarland Parkway in Alpharetta on 2/8/07 at about 8:00 p.m.

While one suspect distracted the store manager, his accomplice forced his way into the locked manager’s office and removed two cartons of Newport cigarettes. The suspect then exited the store through a back door, which activated an alarm.

Both suspects fled the scene in a dark colored Toyota passenger car.

Anyone with information leading to the identification of these two suspects is encouraged to contact Investigator Cynthia Thacker at (678) 455-8518.

Notice that one of the suspects walks with a distinct limp.
