SHERIFF'S CIVIL, RECORDS OFFICES TO RELOCATE

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Records & Civil offices will relocate to new offices early next week, Sheriff Ted Paxton announced today.

The new locations will be at the newly renovated Lanier Lodge Hotel, located on the northwest corner of Bald Ridge Marina Road at GA 400 (Exit #15).

Forsyth County Government purchased the defunct hotel last year with the intention of relocating various county offices to it once the renovation was complete.  Juvenile Court has already moved to the new location and other agencies will be moving soon.

The Records office will begin moving on Monday, Sheriff Paxton said, followed by the Civil Unit on Tuesday.  "We expect to hold our service disruption to the public at a minimum," he added.   The Records office is currently located on E. Maple Street and the Civil unit will be moving from its current location in Tri-County Plaza Shopping Center.
