A
recent warrant sweep by Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office
deputies resulted in arrests of nine persons on a wide
variety of misdemeanor and felony charges, Sheriff Ted
Paxton announced today.
The
sweep, conducted by a team of eight deputies from the
Warrant and S.O.A.R Units in the early morning hours of
August 15, began at 3:00 a.m. and lasted until 1:00 p.m.,
said Lt. Chuck Smith, Commander of the Sheriff’s Office
Warrant Unit. One of those arrested, Vickie Thrasher, was
found hiding in a bedroom under a comforter, Lt. Smith
added. Also arrested were a mother and daughter, Cindy
Evans and Cynthia Puckett.
Those arrested and the charges against them, include:

Anthony Chaffin, white male, age 32: Simple
Battery, Cruelty to Children and Interference with a
911 Call. |
