Officer Needs Assistance!
On Saturday, March 23rd, Forsyth County Deputy Allan Frampton and his wife, Angela, arrived home to find that their beautiful house was completely destroyed by fire. As tragic as losing their residence and everything inside it, over $7,000 in exotic animals also perished in the fire. Allan, you see, is an Animal Control Officer with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. Allan takes his job very seriously and occasionally provides a temporary home for the abused and neglected animals that come to his attention as part of his duties.
Fortunately, their 14 year-old son, Jared, was staying at a friend’s home that evening and escaped injury. Several of the family dogs were slightly injured, but will survive with minor injuries. Sadly, Angela’s dog perished in the fire. The blaze apparently started on or near a rear deck; however, the cause is undetermined at this time.
The Fraternal Order of Police, Lanier Lodge #82, will be accepting donations to assist Allan and his family. Anyone wishing to assist the Framptons with cash donations or other items should contact F.O.P. President Cpl. Chris Shelton at (770) 654-2964. Checks should be payable to Lanier Lodge, F.O.P. and mailed to P.O. Box 1374, Cumming, GA 30028. Please indicate on your check that this is for the Framptons.
Your assistance to one of our County’s Finest will be greatly appreciated. May God bless you for your generosity.
