CASH, DRUGS SEIZED IN ARREST

A 3-week investigation by Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Investigators resulted in the arrest
Monday night of a Winder man and the confiscation of more than $9,600 in cash, approximately
1,000 Ecstasy tablets and a Glock handgun.
Arrested was Roy Lee Berry, 26. He was driving a rental car when he was stopped about 8:30
p.m. at Pilgrim Mill and Antioch Roads. Berry was alone at the time of his arrest.
Berry is in the Forsyth County jail and faces multiple charges including, Possession with Intent to
Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Crime.
The street value of the drugs is estimated to be over $20,000.
"This arrest was the result of good investigative work by our investigators," said Maj. Gene Moss,
Commander of the Sheriff’s Office Enforcement Division. "Our investigation is continuing and we
are hopeful other arrests may result," Moss added.
