A 32 year-old Conyers man is in critical condition this morning following a collision yesterday between his motorcycle and a pickup truck.
Mark Allen Yee, of Flatshoals Road in Conyers, was travelling west on Hwy. 369 on his 1999 Harley-Davidson when it collided nearly head-on with the pickup truck. The truck, a 1978 Chevrolet C-10, was driven by Tammy Marie Wright, 30, of Redwood Drive in Dahlonega. The accident happened shortly after 4 p.m.
According to Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Traffic Specialists, the collision occurred when Wright was attempting to turn left into a Family Dollar Store parking lot, located just east of GA 400. Wright was travelling east when the accident occurred.
Yee was transported by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, and was later flown by helicopter to Atlanta Medical Center. He is in intensive care at this time. Wright was not injured.
No charges have been filed, pending completion of the investigation.
