Monday, October 14, 2002 A 35 year-old Cumming man has died as the result of injuries he suffered when his motorcycle collided with a car late Friday afternoon. Eric Nolan House, of 2910 Grey Hawk Lane was southbound on Windermere Parkway at 4 p.m. when a 1996 Cadillac Seville, driven by Robert Paul Benjamin, Jr. of Dacula turned left in front of him. House's motorcycle, a 1999 Triumph 955 sport bike, skidded approximately 75' before colliding with the Cadillac. House was conscious and talking at the scene, prior to being transported to North Fulton Hospital. He died at 8:47 p.m. while in surgery for internal injuries suffered in the accident. Benjamin was cited at the scene for failure to yield the right of way. Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Traffic Specialists are conducting an investigation of the accident. House is Forsyth County's 9th traffic fatality for 2002. The most recent was on September 18 when 42 year-old Stanley Norris was struck and killed while walking on Canton Highway. |
