Did you know many incidents can now be reported by telephone? If you would like to speak to a deputy about an incident that is not in progress you may do so by calling the appropriate precinct during normal business hours. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and the Forsyth County Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board will be hosting a seminar, Domestic Violence in the Workplace, Wednesday, June 16 2010. The Seminar will be held at the Sheriff's Office South Precinct at 2985 Ronald Reagan Blvd. from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
This informative seminar will help train business leaders, managers and supervisors to:
- Understand how domestic violence impacts the workplace
- Identify possible signs and indicators of victimization
- make appropriate referrals to local domestic violence service providers
- Establish a violence-free workplace
