T.I.P. (Teen Interception Program) Information

What is Teen Interception?

  • A FREE Teen drug EDUCATIONAL program provided by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office
  • T.I.P. is NOT a scared straight program
  • A program focused on saving Teen lives & redirecting them to make better decisions in order to live successful lives

Who can attend?

Any teen, age 13-17, can attend, as well as volunteered teens and mandated teens. However, volunteered & mandated teens will attend separate classes.

When will classes be held?

Classes are held once a week, for two hours ( usually 6:30pm to 8:30pm). The duration of the Teen Interception Program is approximately 7 weeks.

Where will classes take place?

Classes will be held at the Public Safety Training Center, at 3520 Settingdown Road, Cumming GA 30040. Off-site classes/trips should also be expected, but are not often. These off-site classes/trips are specific to the individual programs. Details & Information will be determined as they are planned.
