Motorcycle Unit

The Motorcycle Unit is under the command of the Special Operations Division of the Sheriff’s Office. It is composed of four deputies who are assigned to ride motorcycles for the purpose of patrolling the county and handling traffic enforcement. The members of this unit have completed the Georgia P.O.S.T. Basic Motor Officer Course for Law Enforcement which is a requirement to be assigned to this unit. The motorcycle deputies’ duties consist of handling traffic complaints, funeral escorts, special events and participating in traffic safety educational events.

Deputy First Class N. Wright.
He has been Serving Forsyth County since 1999. Prior to being assigned to the Motorcycle Unit he has worked in the Uniform Patrol Division, K-9 Unit and the Criminal Investigations Division.
Deputy First Class C. Latonis
He has been serving Forsyth County since 2004. Prior to being assigned to the
Motorcycle Unit he has worked in the Uniform Patrol Division, S.O.A.R. Team
and Gang Investigations.
Deputy M. Seabolt
He has been serving Forsyth County since 2005. Prior to being assigned to the
Motorcycle Unit he has worked in the Uniform Patrol Division and the Special
Operations Division’s H.E.A.T. Unit.
