FUNDING OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) seeks applications for formula funding to provide additional personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, training, technical assistance, and information systems for criminal justice or civil proceedings to states to support a range of program areas under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program—Local Solicitation. Forsyth County’s FY25 formula allocation is $13,443. The Sheriff’s Office will use the grant funds and matching funds in the amount of $2,507 to purchase ten Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs).
